Wow

OK. So I haven't been very good with keeping up with this thing.  The past week or so have been kinda difficult for me.  Mainly because the Smiths (Weavers) left.  I had in a way depended on them for entertainment.  I almost expect them to be coming back, even thought there are Guatemalan dudes working on there house.  Last Wensday we went to Operation Rescue again.  Operation Rescue is a school for children in the dump.  The kids come in and get breakfast and then they do school.  The main guy, who's name I can't spell, is really inspirational.  He knows almost all of the kids by name and you can really tell that he cares about them.  I find it really hard not to smile whenever I'm around him for some reason.  Today was Abby's Birthday.   I made a Funny Cake and Shoo fly pie for her.  I think we're making apple pies tomorrow.  That should be fun.  Other than that my life has been somewhat uneventful.  I've been doing school every week day and that's about it.  Sorry this post thing was kinda boring but I just felt like I needed to put something on even though I didn't have anything to say.  Ohhh, I thought of something.  I found a giant spider in my bathroom this morning.  That was scary at least to me.  Then later today Maredith and Abby found a little lizard running around in our house.  That is also a little creepy.  I really hope I don't find either of those things in my bed tonight.  Anyways, that's it.

First things First

So........ welcome to my blog.  For those of you who don't know much about me my name is Risa.  I'm 13 and in 8th grade.  I live in Guatemala with my parents and two older sisters and my younger foster sister.  I have a golden retriever named Oso who is completely crazy.  I love soccer.  Messi is my favorite player.  I spend way to much time listening to music.  I love doing artsy things such as painting and charcoal drawings.  I am a terrible speller.  Ummmm, that's about it.  If you have any questions I'm here to answer them.  Well, that's it.
